Hi yunalesca, that error most likely means that there is a problem with the original firmware update 5.00 that you are using. Can you please re-download all the custom and original firmware for Section E again and make sure that the original firmware (DL.O.4) is renamed exactly as “500.PBP” (without the quotes) before trying to upgrade.

Hi, thanks for the guide! I have a question though, I’ve followed up to section D, but when I try to install the 5.00 m33, I get the message “incorrect file”. Any help in resolving this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey i havethe custom firmware of 3.71 M33-3 according to the system information menu on the psp
according to this guide i need to follow sections C, D, E, and F. is that correct?

Hi Ace, once your PSP is updated with the current OFW, the only way to install a CFW that I know of is to use a Pandora’s battery.

Hi, same thing happened to me just like gamer19 i have a previously working 3.71 m33 then i accidentally downloaded ang installe a 5.50 version which is not from m33. ISO folder is now gone and only umd games are playable. What should i do with this?Please help. Thanks.
