Hi P12, after getting into Recovery mode, do the following:
(1) Choose “Configuration”
(2) Toggle line saying “Game folder homebrew (currently: x.xx Kernel).

yk, you’re a legend! Not all the download links worked for me, but you can find the files easily elsewhere, and absolutely perfect instructions.

haven’t played a game that doesn’t work using this now (i’m on 5.00 M33-6), including Peace Walker. I’m now fully up to speed, thanks very much!!!

Just wanted to express my utmost gratitude to you, yk. I was updating my PSP-1000 for my girlfriend so that she and I could play SNES games together, but it’s been so long since I’ve installed any CFW, I didn’t even know where to start. Then I stumbled upon your guide and voila– simple, painless process with absolutely no problems. You sir, are a credit to our race! =D
